Chuck Scherer joined Marsh Management Services, Inc. in the Charleston, SC office in 2006 as an Account Manager dedicated to Special Purpose Financial Captive clients, and was promoted to Senior Account Manager in 2007. He is responsible for monitoring the regulatory compliance of the Special Purpose Financial Captives as well as documenting their formation. In addition, Chuck developed and oversees the management of the traditional insurance management service team. Prior to joining Marsh, Chuck spent time with Crum & Forster Insurance in the role of Senior GAAP Accountant, preparing financial statements and reviewing accounting standards as they pertain to the insurance industry. He also spent four years with Ryan Beck & Co., a full service broker/dealer and investment banking institution, as a Senior Accountant where he served in all areas of the Accounting Department, specializing in the equity underwriting business. Chuck holds a B.S. in Accounting from Rutgers University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
