Committee Descriptions
Education
The Education Committee is responsible for planning any educational sessions offered through The Friendly Society Restored. The committee will set an expectation with the group as to what educational events we will have (how many and types of presentations), decide on a small number of categories of topics to present, and conduct an interest survey within the membership. The Education Committee is also responsible for overseeing any educational presentations planned by breakfast sponsors (not the presentations regarding sponsor’s company and services, only if an additional educational session is planned). Sponsors should contact the chair as early as possible ahead of time and provide an outline of their presentation for review.

Community Outreach
The Community Outreach Committee is responsible for planning for, obtaining funds, purchasing items, and wrapping the gift boxes The Friendly Society Restored donates to the Seafarers in December. Additional Community Outreach ideas are to be submitted to the chair of this committee for consideration.

Operations
The Operations Committee is responsible for maintaining the table decorations and other supplies, setting up before the breakfasts and cleaning up afterwards, receiving and transporting giveaways from sponsors, and coordinating event signage with Ron Krebs. Also, responsible for researching potential new venues for the breakfast meetings.

Sponsorship/Membership
The Sponsorship/Membership Committee is responsible for identifying potential sponsors and fostering relationships, and contacting potential sponsors via phone or email to request their sponsorship for TFSR meetings. Also responsible for following up with individuals who have sponsored and soliciting feedback.

Communication/Constant Contact
The Communication/Constant Contact Committee is responsible for sending two Constant Contact newsletters each month. News is solicited from member companies. Each service provider will be asked to designate one person in their office to be the conduit for news items.
